Our Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) with appropriate qualifications offer the following services:
Community Wellness Assessment - physical, cognitive, and environmental
Medication Management
Monitoring compliance to self-administered medications.
Nurse administration of oral, transdermal (patches), inhaled (nebulisers and puffers) topical (eye, ear, nose, and skin), and injectables (subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous) medications.
Diabetes Management - blood glucose monitoring and insulin management
Chronic Pain Management - monitoring and administration of schedule 4 and 8 drugs
Central Line Management and Medications Administration - including CVC and PICC lines
Enteral Feeding and Medication Administration - PEG and NGT tubes
Stoma Assessment and Management
Catheter Management - SPC and IDC
Chronic Wound Management - chronic ulcers and diabetic neuropathy
Post Surgical Care
Simple surgical wound dressings
Advanced surgical wound dressings including packings and VAC therapy
Surgical drains
Palliative Care
Management of pain busters and syringe drivers
Oxygen therapy
Our Assistant in Nursing (AIN) services include, but not limited to:
Medication Management (limited)
Monitoring compliance to dose administration aids (webster packs)
Administration of topical (eye, ear, nose, and skin) medications
Administration of inhaled (nebulisers and puffers) medications
Assistance in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Showering
Dressing
Dental hygiene
Skin care
Meals
Assistance in Mobility
Supervision with the use of mobility aids (sticks, walkers, frames)
Assisting with transfers (hoist)
Continence Care - regular toileting and use of continence aids
Palliative Care (overnight stays if required)
Pressure area care (bed turns)
Bed washes and skin care
Mouth and eye toilet
Dementia Care - ADL supervision and companionship (overnight stays when required)
